What makes Germany the best robotics location?

As an investor in the USA, I do not see any shortage of companies seeking capital at home. But even if the lion's share of US investments flows into Silicon Valley, I observe very closely with my team when there are special opportunities for other places. With our private equity investments, it was always important to me to be entrepreneurial and at the same time creative and to look at the overall picture of a company. One thing that is particularly important to me is culture. Not only in the company itself, but at its location. Because mentality and cultural aspects – which must not be confused with prejudice – are important factors for success.

After I recently invested in a German company (more on this later!), there were many questions from other investors about my reasons. I want to describe a few of them here, for example why Germany is so attractive as a location for the robotics company we have invested in.
